Click a star on the map, then use “Require” or “Exclude” in its detail panel. Required nodes are included before the remaining budget is optimized.

How to use the planner

Map a build yourself, test an optimized route, and share the result before you spend your stars in Manarion. The map uses the game's original star positions and connections.

Start hereStep by step

Choose your starting element

Open Build, select Fire, Water, or Nature, then set your star budget. You can only have one elemental start; each node costs one star.

Map a route manually

Keep Manual mapping selected above the chart. Click or tap an adjacent star to unlock it. With Auto-connect distant nodes enabled, choosing a farther star adds connecting nodes along a path. Click an unlocked star to remove it; use Undo or Reset route as needed.

Drag to pan the chart and use the ＋ / − buttons or mouse wheel to zoom. Use Fit chart to recenter.

Set your optimization priorities

Open Priorities, pick a preset (including Shards + Potion + Sageroot / Bloomwell, EXP Progression + Potion · Battler, EXP Progression + Potion · TSer, Tax Push, and Dangs Pet Sanctuary), or customize the 0–20 sliders. Higher weights tell the optimizer which effects you value most; a weight of zero does not prevent a node from being used as a connector.

Require or exclude specific stars

Switch to Inspect above the chart and select a star, or find one through Build → Find a node. Choose Require if it must be in the route (for example, Sigma) or Exclude to avoid it. Remember that duplicate effects are separate star locations.

Optimize your route

Choose Find best route on Build, or Optimize with these priorities on Priorities. To expand an existing build without changing your unlocked stars, enable Keep my current unlocked stars when optimizing before running it.

Gold — your existing unlocked route Bright pink — new stars and paths recommended by the optimizer Blue — starting elemental star

The optimizer searches for a high-scoring connected route, but it cannot guarantee the mathematical best possible build.

Review, save, and share

Open Results to inspect your selected effects, unlock order, and route validity. Export the unlock order as CSV; return to Build to Save build JSON, Load build, Export map PNG, or Copy share link.

Builds are also saved locally in your browser. JSON or a share link is safer for sharing between devices than relying on local browser storage.

Suggestions, changes, or issues?

If you spot an incorrect connection, have an idea for a better feature or preset, or run into a bug, reach out to Nightspike through the Osmanthus guild Discord.

To help Nightspike reproduce the issue or evaluate your suggestion, include:

What you expected or would like changed
What actually happened, including steps to reproduce if possible
Your starting element, star budget, and selected preset
A screenshot and your exported build JSON or share link, if relevant

Your feedback helps improve the optimizer for everyone in Osmanthus.
